Tignes is a world-renowned resort made up of five small villages in the heart of the stunning Vanoise National Park. The high altitude (1550m – 3456m) means skiers enjoy great snow fall all season. As part of the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area, the resort offers 300km of slopes for beginners, intermediates and experts alike.
Tignes is a modern resort suitable for all ability levels. There are three free beginner lifts so you can develop the skills needed to progress and long blues for cruising and building up your confidence. For more advanced skiers there is an abundance of red and black runs as well as glacier skiing and endless off-piste possibilities. The neighbouring resort of Val d’Isère is easily accessible from Tignes for an extra 150km of premium pistes.
Whether you’re a non-skier or bad weather is keeping you off the slopes, Tignes has a large selection of different winter activities to enjoy including snowtubing, snowshoeing, sledging, escape games and other more unusual activities such as moonbiking or microlighting. Le Lagon is a watersports complex in the centre of Tignes Le Lac with an indoor pool as well as a fun pool with a wave machine, water slides and massage beds. The facility also includes a wellness area with hot tubs, saunas and a steam room for ultimate relaxation.
